"Terrible customer service once they have you signed up. I've been trying to get a hold of them for almost a week and haven't received a call back or answer to my texts. Beware of customer service after they get your money."

"Never in a million years did I expect State Farm to offer the most competitive price. Chadd and his team worked with me to tailor my home and auto quotes to the specific coverage I was looking for, yet still came out less expensive than Progressive, Allstate, Geico or any of the other companies that quoted me."

"I recently experienced false claims reported on my driver's history. Chadd was not helpful at all. I emailed him the details about the situation and he CC me in an email to I guess one of his office workers and asked her to handle it. He should have provided better customer service and spoke with me, his customer himself. I'm currently still fighting the claims because they are towing bills. My car has never ever been towed. Fraudulent claims. Chadd only responds when it's time to renew a policy. I'm sick of State Farm and his office. A shame how people do business these days. Definitely not staying with this company."

"I was shopping for homeowners and personal car insurance and after contacting several options finally reached State Farm Kawata Insurance Agency in Richardson,TX. Sales Manager Paul Shelley surprised me with a one of a kind customer service experience. He was able to answer all my questions in a very thorough and professional manner. Insurance policies are very technical and difficult to understand subjects and making proper decisions about different choices are complicated matters for the layperson. This decisions may have a profound impact when is time to use the insurance coverage. To any person that is reading this posting and is shopping for an insurance policy I definitely encourage you to reach Mr Kawata office. Again, customer service second to none."

"Very mediocre State Farm agent .. they are always in meetings so you cannot get a hold of them immediately . They will call you back in 2-3 hours or more . So if you need immediate help good luck ! Also Chad is mostly on vacation / in meetings or busy . He is however never busy if you want to talk to him about additional insurance. In that case he is available . I am a business owner/ house owner and a resident of Plano ,"

"Run! Don’t walk. Run far away from this agent and office! Unprofessional customer service. I requested that my renters insurance be canceled because I bought a home. They offered to quote my home owners and never sent the quote, so I went with another company. I kept my car insurance through the same policy, which I had for many years! While moving into my house I hit a neighbors car who was parked behind my driveway. Come to find out they canceled my car insurance and not my renters. They had to cover the accident but it was like pulling teeth and took over a month. Thank god for my lovely new neighbors.. they were graceful and patient! Fast forward to a year later and my car policy was canceled due to the accident from a year ago?? A few months ago Chadd used some hardball sales tactics to get me to switch my home owners for MORE money, then said if you don’t see the value of State Farm then that’s fine. I asked him to save me money, not cost me more money. So now I have to find a new company and agent! Just a horrible experience all around. They just want new sales, and will ignore your calls if you’re not buying a new policy."
